As lover of nature, I find inspiration in the Universe and Nature and pay tribute to the simple things in life. I have been in love with paper and the use of paper in art and artisanal work since I was a small child and my passion only increases. Twelve years ago I started quilling recycled paper to make Christmas ornaments and that evolved into coiling colorful magazine papers and making my signature baskets and found my honest Passion. Because I become borderline obsessed with my newfound loves I also burn out of them at one point. My passion is usually fuelled by the reaction it invokes from people.

The love of nature transpires through my mix media paintings of trees, which I find fascinating, I take miriads of pictures of trees for my own pleasure and use those as my inspiration. I am passionate about repurpusing used stuff and upcycling. Everything I do has one or more points of recycled goods.

My creations are an eclectic collection of art and nature that are sophisticated and beautiful. I am continually creating new pieces so please visit my site often.

What's in a name

If a rose were not called a rose, would it still smell as nice? but of course, what matters is what something is, not what it is called.

Take a business name, some are so clever they invite you in others say nothing at all and they falter. Why should a name have any bearing on the business? Because I noticed it does. Take my name "Artesa" it is so bland it makes me cringe...
